My mission is to inspire more women to run and help them to achieve their goals.
I am a UK Athletics licenced running coach, based in Chester, with a passion for helping women achieve their goals in running.
I started running in October 2018, having never ran before in my life. I caught the running bug relatively quickly, not only running further and faster but also feeling much fitter and stronger.
In 2021, after a number of Covid-19 related delays, I ran the London Marathon. Having picked up an injury in training, I really struggled through the 26.2 miles and ended up hobbling over the finish line feeling very broken!
Other races include the Chester Zoo 10K, Manchester 10K and Berliner Silvesterlauf, as well as Deva Divas, Shropshire Triathlon, Southport Triathlon and Ullswater Epic Man.
In 2023, I qualified within my age category to represent Team GB at the 2024 World Sprint Distance Championships in Malaga. This is my main goal in 2024.
I never thought I’d be a runner and I have achieved more than I ever thought possible, which is why I want to use my passion to inspire and support more women in running, whatever their goals.
